You want to use the validity period of the change status of a superior
object as the validity window, instead of the selection period.
However, to do this you first need to select one such change status.

If you want to use the validity period of the change status of a
superior object as the validity window, proceed as follows:
Go to the overview for the superior object.
Select a change status.
Go back to the current overview.
Choose <LS>Extras -> Options</>.
Choose the radio button <ls>Change status</> on the <ls>Validity Window
</> tab page.
