If a value exists twice:
Delete one of the values.
If the intervals overlap, you have the following options:
Increase the upper limit of the first interval to the upper limit of
the second interval and delete the second interval.
Increase the lower limit of the second interval to a value that is no
longer within the value range of the first interval.
