In a
<DS:GLOS.3526B6D1AFAB52B9E10000009B38F974>sales order cost estimate</>,
overhead is applied twice to sales order item &V3&.
In the first overhead application, the planned production overhead is
calculated (usually material and production overhead).
In the second overhead application, sales and administration costs are
calculated on top of the cost of goods manufactured, the end result
being the cost of goods sold. When the second overhead is applied, the
costing sheet is taken from the sales order item.

The costing type settings determine whether, in the first overhead
application, the costing sheet is taken from the valuation variant or
