You have marked product type &V1& as configurable and activated quantity
and/or value updates.
This is possible from a technical point of view, but may not make sense
from a business point of view as you should keep inventories on the
basis of specific variants (configured products) of a configurable
products.
It may make sense to use this setting if you work with valuated sales
order stock for configured products.
