You cannot assign a value to the characteristic you selected, or you
cannot assign the characteristic value you selected. This could be for
the following reasons:
The characteristic of characteristic value is excluded from the value
assignment process by <DS:GLOS.object_dependencies>object
dependencies</>.
The characteristic is restrictable, and the value set has been
restricted by user entries or object dependencies.
