¿Qué causa este problema?

The process instruction is of type "process data request".
Characteristic PPPI_DEFAULT_VARIABLE defines a variable whose value is
to be assigned to a characteristic of the requested message. The
corresponding message characteristic must be assigned to characteristic
PPPI_EXTERNAL_VALUE immediately afterwards.
However, the message characteristic is not defined at this point in the
process instruction.
