¿Qué causa este problema?

You have entered a follow-up group for a BOM item. The follow-up group
is used to identify an item as a follow-up item - an item which
replaces a discontinued item.

Respuesta del sistema

The system checks the material master record of the item. The
<LS>discontinuation indicator</> in the discontinuation data (MRP3
view) of the material master record for this item is the value 1
(simple/parallel discontinue). This value means that you must enter a
follow-up material in the material master record.

¿Cómo arreglar este error?

Since a follow-up material is maintained in the material master record
of this BOM item, the item is a discontinued material. Once a material
has been defined as discontinued, you can no longer define the material
as a follow-up item for another item in a BOM.
You can only define this material as a follow-up item if you change the
value for the discontinuation indicator in the material master record.
Otherwise, you have to enter a different follow-up item.
