¿Qué causa este problema?

You are maintaining the item for material &V1& (plant &V2&). You want
to enter a discontinuation group for this material. However,
discontinuation is not supported in the material master
record (MRP data) of the material.

You can only enter a discontinuation group if the material master
record supports discontinuation. The discontinuation indicator can be
either <LS>1</> for a main part to be discontinued or <LS>3</> for a
subordinate part to be discontinued.
