When a configuration is saved, it is checked automatically for
consistency. Any errors or warnings are detected.

The configuration is not saved.
Transport routes may have been created which cannot appear in the
configuration editor and are not used.
The list display in the configuration editor can therefore differ from
that in the graphical editor.
