  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Quantity conversion for the issuing batch and the receiving batch
differ by at least one product unit.
Current remaining stock for this stock segment and this stock type
    BaseUoM &V1&
    ProductUn &V2&
    &V3&

    System Response

The stock transfer is carried out using the conversion factor of the
receiving batch. Errors may occur after the decimal point in the stock
of the issuing batch as a result of this stock transfer.
If this message is an error message, you cannot carry out a stock
transfer to a batch with a different conversion factor.
If this message is a warning message, the document can only be posted
if errors do not occur after the decimal point.
    Example
Issuing batch C1 with a weight per unit of 50 kg
    unrestricted-use stock C1 storage location 0001: 2 units
1 unit is to be transferred to batch C2 with a weight per unit of 60kg.
1 unit at 40kg is left in unrestricted-use stock of batch C1 in storage
    location 0001.
In order that the document can be posted, a second stock transfer item
has to be entered to a batch with a weight per unit of 40 Kg.
If there is any remaining stock left for the issuing batch, the system
checks during posting whether the conversion factors of the remaining
stock correspond to those of the issuing batch.
In this way the system calculates the conversion factor of the
remaining stock from the remaining stock in product units and the
remaining stock in base unit of measure.

    How to fix this error?

If this message is a warning message:
Open another session to display the stock overview for the issuing
    batch.
Enter at least another stock transfer item for the remaining stock of
    this batch.
If this message is an error message:
The item cannot be posted. The conversion factors between the base unit
of measure and the product units must be the same for the issuing and
    receiving batches.
