XT553
- No requests with critical objects exist ?The SAP error message XT553, which states "No requests with critical objects exist," typically occurs in the context of transport management within SAP systems. This error indicates that there are no transport requests that contain critical objects (such as changes to certain types of objects that require special handling) available for processing.
Cause:
- No Critical Objects: The primary reason for this error is that there are no transport requests that include critical objects. Critical objects are usually those that have a significant impact on the system, such as changes to certain configuration settings or important program code.
- Transport Request Status: The transport requests may be in a status that does not allow them to be processed (e.g., they might be released or not yet released).
- Incorrect Selection Criteria: The selection criteria used to search for transport requests may not match any existing requests.
Solution:
- Check Transport Requests: Verify if there are any transport requests that contain critical objects. You can do this by using transaction codes like SE09 or SE10 to view the transport requests.
- Review Object Types: Ensure that the objects you are working with are indeed classified as critical objects. You may need to consult your SAP documentation or system administrator for the specific criteria that define critical objects in your environment.
- Adjust Selection Criteria: If you are using a selection screen to filter transport requests, ensure that the criteria are set correctly to include the relevant requests.
- Create New Transport Request: If no transport requests exist, you may need to create a new transport request that includes the necessary changes or objects.
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to view and process transport requests. Lack of proper authorizations can sometimes lead to misleading error messages.
