  • Message number: 283

  • Message text: Project import into a centrally CTS-managed system (control: &1)

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have started the import for all requests belonging to a project. The
target system is managed however partly by central CTS. (The TMS
parameter MANAGED_SYSTEM is set to the value PARTLY.)
There may be transport requests in the queue that are assigned to the
selected project and are also controlled centrally by CTS. Transport
requests that are controlled centrally by CTS cannot be imported
locally; they can only be imported from the central CTS server using the
    transport collection.
Therefore, requests that are assigned to the selected project and to
central CTS will not be imported with this import. You can recognize
these requests by the "*" after the project name.

    System Response

    This is important additional information.

    How to fix this error?

You have to decide how you want to proceed with the import. In the next
dialog box you can cancel the import or continue with it.

    3. Configuration Issues: There may be configuration issues in the CTS or the transport landscape that prevent the import from proceeding.
    4. Project Dependencies: The project being imported may have dependencies on other objects or projects that are not available in the target system.

      • Ensure that the user performing the import has the necessary authorizations. You may need to check the roles and profiles assigned to the user.
