What causes this issue?

The object type you specified has a parent object. A delegation is
already entered for this object type, but it does not refer to the
object you specified.
Extending this object type or an associated subtype is therefore not
worthwhile, because the event could not be triggered due to the
existing delegation.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Choose another object type or conclude event creation. Change the
delegation entered and start the process again.
