Message text: Enter at least one characteristic value
You want to include a new or existing material in planning. In this
case the system automatically extends the planning hierarchy
accordingly in the background. In order to be able to plan the material
in the current planning step, the planning hierarchy must be completed
at least up to the deepest planning characteristic of the planning step
(here: &V2&) because the planning data is saved on this level.
Planning level &V1&, which corresponds to a classification system
characteristic, is contained in the current planning step. Without
specifying a value for this planning level, the hierarchy cannot be
completely extended from the planning step view without specifying a
classification system characteristic value. It is not possible to plan
data for the material concerned.
The material cannot be copied without at least one of the values being
specified for the classification system characteristic.
Choose at least one value for the classification system characteristic
for the material specified. If you cannot specify a value at this
point, create an assigned place holder in the classification system
("dummy value") and assign this.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

WXPB106
- Enter at least one characteristic value ?SAP Error Message:
WXPB106 - Enter at least one characteristic value
Cause:
This error occurs when you are working with classification data in SAP (e.g., when assigning characteristics to a material, equipment, or other objects) and you attempt to save or proceed without entering any value for at least one characteristic. The system requires that at least one characteristic value be entered because characteristics define the classification and attributes of the object.
When does it typically occur?
Enter at least one characteristic value:
Go back to the classification screen and input a value for at least one characteristic. Characteristics are fields that describe the object, and at least one must be filled to proceed.
Check characteristic settings:
If you believe you have entered values but still get the error, verify that the characteristic is correctly assigned and that the values are valid.
Review characteristic mandatory settings:
In some cases, characteristics can be set as mandatory in the class or characteristic definition. If you want to allow saving without values, you may need to adjust these settings (usually done by a system administrator or configuration consultant).
Check for user exits or validations:
Sometimes custom code or validations enforce that at least one characteristic value must be entered. Review any custom enhancements if applicable.
Transaction codes:
