What causes this issue?

You want to execute the "Paste" function. However, there is no data in
the buffer and therefore the function cannot be used.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Cut out one or more nodes or copy one or more nodes and then call the
function once again.
