What causes this issue?

You want to go to planning hierarchy maintenance for planning step &V1&
. This planning step does not, however, belong to "Manual planning" or
"Automatic planning".

System Response

The activity is not executed.

How to fix this error?

If you want to maintain a planning hierarchy, select the planning step
method "Manual planning" and/or "Automatic planning" in the basic
settings for planning step &V1&. Ensure that you assigne a database
table and planning levels to the planning step.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
