What causes this issue?

Area shares still exist for the individual layout modules.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check whether you called up the transaction via
<ds:TRAN.WOL1>Integrated layout maintenance</>.
Instead of selecting the 'Delete' function there, select "Area schema
points" and first delete the area schema points for the layout and area
schema.
