What causes this issue?

When you create a plant and have entered a reference plant, a number of
Customizing settings are copied. This is only possible if the necessary
settings have been made for the reference plant for MM and SD processes
in the Customizing system.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you have the necessary authorization, you can maintain the plant
profile for the reference plant.
