Message number: 467
Message text: Calculated and current final price are the same. Update not necessary.
During checks for saving conditions in
<DS:GLOS.352A7060D3895CD5E10000009B38F974>sales price calculation</>,
the system discovered that the newly calculated
<DS:GLOS.3526BC8AAFAB52B9E10000009B38F974>sales price</> in list field
<DS:DE.ENDPR>final price ENDPR</> is the same as the current sales price
(list field <DS:DE.ENDPA>ENDPA</>). It is therefore not necessary to
update a condition for the sales price.
No condition record is created for the sales price.
In sales price calculation, it is possible to override the general
rules for a BAdI. You can set the update indicator for condition values
manually in the detail screen for a pricing item. These settings have
the highest priority during an update. In this way, you can ensure that
a condition is created for the sales price in such a case.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Calculated and current final price are the same. Update not necessary. ?The SAP error message WV467, which states "Calculated and current final price are the same. Update not necessary," typically occurs in the context of pricing in sales documents, such as sales orders or quotations. This message indicates that the system has determined that the final price calculated for a line item is the same as the price already stored in the system, so no update is required.
Cause:
- No Changes in Conditions: The pricing conditions (like discounts, surcharges, etc.) have not changed since the last calculation, leading to the same final price.
- Manual Entry: If a user manually enters a price that matches the calculated price, the system will not perform an update.
- Pricing Procedure: The pricing procedure may not have any changes that would affect the final price.
- Data Consistency: There may be a consistency in the data that results in the same calculated price.
Solution:
- Review Pricing Conditions: Check the pricing conditions for the item in question. If there are any changes needed (like discounts or surcharges), make those adjustments.
- Recalculate Prices: If you believe there should be a difference, you can try to force a recalculation of the prices by using the appropriate function in the sales document (e.g., using the "Recalculate" button).
- Check Manual Entries: Ensure that no manual price entries are conflicting with the calculated price.
- Review Pricing Procedure: Ensure that the pricing procedure is set up correctly and that all necessary conditions are included.
- Consult Documentation: If the issue persists, consult SAP documentation or your internal SAP support team for further troubleshooting.
