Message text: Unauthorized change in the existing price calculation
In sales price calculation maintenance you have changed fields in such
a way that the system is no longer able to calculate the sales price
(or the retail price in the second pricing step). You cannot, for
example, change the margin and the actual markup simultaneously in a
sales price calculation, as these two entries can have a conflicting
effect on the way the sales price is calculated.
All the changes you made to the existing pricing item were reset to the
original entries.
Re-enter your data for the current pricing item.

- Unauthorized change in the existing price calculation ?The SAP error message WV106, which states "Unauthorized change in the existing price calculation," typically occurs in the context of pricing and conditions in SAP, particularly when dealing with sales documents, purchase orders, or pricing procedures. This error indicates that there has been an attempt to modify a price calculation that is not permitted due to authorization restrictions.
Cause:
- Authorization Issues: The user attempting to make changes does not have the necessary authorizations to modify the pricing conditions or calculations.
- Pricing Procedure Configuration: The pricing procedure may be configured in such a way that certain conditions are locked or restricted from being changed after a certain point in the document lifecycle.
- Document Status: The document (e.g., sales order, purchase order) may be in a status that does not allow changes to pricing (e.g., it may be completed or already processed).
- Custom Logic: There may be custom enhancements or user exits that restrict changes to pricing based on specific business rules.
Solution:
- Check User Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the appropriate authorizations to change pricing conditions. This can be done by reviewing the user's role and authorization objects related to pricing.
- Review Pricing Procedure: Check the configuration of the pricing procedure in the SAP system. Ensure that the conditions are set up correctly and that there are no restrictions preventing changes.
- Document Status: Verify the status of the document. If the document is in a status that does not allow changes, you may need to revert it to a status that permits modifications or create a new document.
- Consult with SAP Basis or Security Team: If the issue persists, consult with your SAP Basis or Security team to investigate any custom logic or enhancements that may be affecting pricing changes.
- Transaction Codes: Use transaction codes like
