    A customer master record is also always created for stores. The
    plant number is stored as a reference for the plant table in the
    customer master. The absence of plant numbers in the customer master
    record causes this message.

    How to fix this error?

    Since the store groups are created using the customer number,
    there are two possible causes of this error.
    The reference to the plant number is missing in the customer
    master of the store.
    In this case maintain the reference.
    An actual customer was inadvertently assigned to a store group
    In this case remove the customer from the store group.
