- Claim type & has not been assigned to an account determination procedure ?SAP Error Message: WTY15013 - Claim type & has not been assigned to an account determination procedure
Cause: This error occurs because the claim type you are trying to process in the Warranty Management (or Service Management) module has not been linked to any account determination procedure. In SAP, each claim type must be assigned to an account determination procedure to ensure that the system knows how to post accounting entries related to that claim. Without this assignment, the system cannot determine which General Ledger (G/L) accounts to use for posting, hence the error. Explanation: Claim Type: Defines the type of warranty or service claim (e.g., warranty, goodwill, etc.). Account Determination Procedure: A configuration that links claim types to specific G/L accounts for posting. When processing a claim, SAP checks this assignment to determine the correct accounts for posting costs, revenues, or liabilities. If the claim type is not assigned, the system cannot proceed with posting, resulting in error
