    The reference assignment for material &V1& and plant &V2&, which already
    exists in the database, is up-to-date. Therefore, no change is
    necessary.
    The system issues this message at two places:
    When you transfer a reference assignment to other plants with the dialog
    program.
    In this case, the existing assignment is on par with the one you want to
    transfer.
    When you create reference assignments automatically with the batch
    program.
    In this case, the system has searched for a reference module and found
    the same module that is already assigned to this material/plant
    combination.

    System Response

    The existing reference assignment remains unchanged.

    How to fix this error?

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
