  • What causes this issue?

No transportation chain information was found in the purchasing info
record. Depending on the message type defined for this customizable
message, the system has stopped processing or continues to search for a
transportation chain entry at higher data levels.

    System Response

The system uses the settings defined for this customizable message to
choose a procedure for determining the transportation chain (TC). The
way the system searches for TC information depends on the message type:
"E" (default): The system uses the standard logic.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

"W" or "I": The system uses the alternate logic and raises specific
messages for each level that does not have a transportation chain entry.
"-": The system uses the alternate logic, but does not raise messages
for any level except for the vendor master.
The difference between the standard and the alternate logic is as
    follows:
The standard logic checks for existing data levels, starting from the
most specific level (info record) and proceeding to the most general
level (vendor master). It uses the transportation chain information from
the first (lowest) level that exists. The staging time is also taken
from the same level. If no TC entry exists at this level, the system
    raises an error message.
The alternate logic searches all levels, from the most specific to the
most general level, until it finds an entry for the transportation
chain. The staging time is then also taken from the same level. An error
message is raised only if no TC entry exists at any level.
    <ZH>Example:</></>
There is an info record with a staging time of one day. The info record
does not have a transportation chain entry. TC information exists only
    in the vendor master.
The standard logic raises an error message and stops, because there is
no TC entry at the most specific data level that exists.
The alternate logic searches all data levels, from the info record up to
the vendor master, and uses the TC information from the vendor master,
because all other levels do not have a TC entry. The staging time of one
day is also taken from the vendor master.

    How to fix this error?
