What causes this issue?

The characteristic &V1&, &V2& cannot be migrated for one of the
following reasons:
The characteristic has already been migrated.
The characteristic is not of type <LS>Character</> or allows values with
more than 18 characters.
The characteristic is not assigned to a variant-creating class that is
used by at least one generic article, that is<(>,<)> it is not a
variant-creating characteristic.

System Response

The system will not migrate the characteristic.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
