• Message text: Deletion of typing data with active assignments is not allowed

What causes this issue?

You cannot delete the typing data of a characterstic manually if one of
the following conditions applies:
The characteristic uses the extended characteristic value store
The characteristic is already assigned to a material group hierarchy, a
material group, or a characteristic profile.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
