SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS - Message for Errors in Material Screens

  • Message number: 063

  • Message text: Fiber code data from old data store has been transmitted for material &1

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Article &V1& has been migrated to the new textile composition function.
However, fiber code data from the old data store was sent via the
interface of article data transfer (BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT,
    IDoc ARTMAS06).

    System Response

Processing has been canceled with an error, because it is no longer
permitted to process fiber code data from the old data store after the
migration of the fiber code data.

    How to fix this error?

On the interface of article data transfer, send only fiber code data for
the new data store (BAPI parameters: TEXTILECOMPONENTS, FIBERCODES; IDoc
    segments: E1BPTEXTLCOMP, E1BPTEXTLFIBR).

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS063 - Fiber code data from old data store has been transmitted for material &1 ?

    SAP Error Message:
WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS063: Fiber code data from old data store has been transmitted for material &1

    Cause:

This message typically occurs in SAP Retail or Fashion Management (IS-Retail or IS-Fashion) environments when fiber composition data (fiber codes) for a material is being transferred or synchronized from an old or legacy data store to the current system. The system detects that the fiber code data originates from an outdated or legacy source rather than the current master data repository.

In other words, the fiber composition information for the material is not coming from the current, active data source but from an older data store, which might lead to inconsistencies or outdated information being used in processes such as article creation, article synchronization, or data replication.

    Explanation:

    • Fiber code data refers to the composition details of a textile or fashion article, specifying the types and percentages of fibers (e.g., cotton, polyester) used.
    • The message is informational or warning in nature, indicating that the fiber data is not from the current master data but from an older system or data store.
    • This can happen during data migration, replication, or when legacy systems are still partially integrated.

    Solution:

    1. Verify Data Source:

      • Check the source of the fiber code data for the material.
      • Confirm whether the data is indeed coming from an old or legacy data store.
    2. Data Synchronization:

      • Ensure that the fiber composition data is updated and maintained in the current master data system.
      • If the old data store is still in use, plan for a full migration or synchronization to the current system to avoid discrepancies.
    3. Data Cleansing:

      • Cleanse and update the fiber code data in the current system to reflect accurate and up-to-date information.
      • Remove or archive outdated data from the old data store if no longer needed.
    4. Check Interfaces and Replication Jobs:

      • Review any interfaces or replication jobs that transfer fiber code data.
      • Adjust the logic or filters to prevent old data from being transmitted or to prioritize current master data.
    5. Consult SAP Notes:

      • Search for SAP Notes related to WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS063 or fiber code data transmission issues.
      • SAP Notes may provide patches, corrections, or additional configuration steps.

    Related Information:

    • This message is often seen in SAP IS-Retail or SAP Fashion Management modules where article master data includes detailed fiber composition.
    • Fiber code data is critical for compliance, labeling, and product information management.
    • Proper master data governance is essential to avoid such warnings and ensure data consistency.
    • If the message appears during a specific transaction or process (e.g., article replication, article creation), check the process flow and data sources involved.

    Summary:

    • Cause: Fiber code data for a material is being transmitted from an old/legacy data store instead of the current master data system.
    • Solution: Verify and update fiber code data in the current system, clean up old data, and adjust data transfer processes to use the current data source.
    • Additional: Review interfaces, replication jobs, and SAP Notes for further guidance.

If you provide more context (e.g., transaction code, process step, system landscape), I can help tailor the solution further.
