What causes this issue?

You have probably changed the status of an external document.
For some message types, all components of the IDocs are grouped
together with the same status. If this has happened with the
displayed component, its status can no longer be determined.
If you receive this message in another situation, an internal
error has occurred. In this case, please inform your system
administrator.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

System Response

If you initiated a status change, this was correctly carried out.
However, the status that is displayed is no longer
correct.

How to fix this error?

Refresh the display.
