What causes this issue?

The materials you have selected are to be discontinued.

System Response

To discontinue the materials you have selected, the system starts a
workflow to check the materials in question. If a particular material
is no longer used in any logistical process, the material receives a
deletion flag. If this workflow is not used, the responsible employee
must check the applications individually.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
