  • What causes this issue?

    All assortment grades that appear at the end of the assignment (on the
    right-hand side) should be defined as the result assortment grade. If
    you choose not to do this, you will need to take great care when you
    maintain assortment grade rules in Customizing.
    The following construction poses no problems:
    ,,Result astmnt grade,,,,contains
    ,, 1,,,,1
    ,, 2,,,,1 + 2
    ,, 3,,,,1 + 2 + 3
    ,, 4,,,,1 + 3 + 4 (gaps are possible)

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    You may have a construction resembling the following, however:
    ,,Result astmt grade,,,,contains
    ,, 1,,,,1 + 3 + 5
    ,, 2,,,,1 + 2 + 4
    ,, 3,,,,1 + 2 + 3 + 5
    It will only be possible to make practical use of this construction if
    you assign the result assortment grade only to assortments and the
    assortment grades that make up the result assortment grade only to
    materials.
    Reducing a material from grade 5 to 3, for example, means that the
    material will now only be assigned to assortments that have the result
    grades 1 and 3 in the above example.
