What causes this issue?

One of the minimum restrictions checked for the purchase order is
either not met by the original purchase order (before splitting) or by
the changed purchase order (after splitting).
In this case, you cannot split the purchase order using the current
splitting method.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You have several options:
Try again to split the purchase order using a different method
Try again to split the purchase order using a different sort sequence
for the order items
Try again to split the purchase order without the minimum restriction
