Meaning / Cause:
This error occurs during the availability check in sales order processing or delivery creation when the system cannot perform an availability check for the specified material and supplying plant combination.
Common causes include:
No MRP type or availability check indicator maintained:
The material master record does not have the availability check indicator set in the MRP 3 view.No relevant checking group or checking rule assigned:
The combination of material and plant does not have a valid availability check group or rule assigned in customizing.No valid plant or supplying plant relationship:
The supplying plant is not correctly maintained or linked to the receiving plant or sales organization.Material not extended to the supplying plant:
The material master is not extended to the supplying plant, so the system cannot check stock or requirements there.Incorrect or missing configuration in availability check customizing:
The availability check procedure or checking group is not properly configured for the plant/material combination.
