What causes this issue?

For forecasting using a day period pattern, you need to maintain the
factory calendar in the master data for the plant. The system was
unable to determine the factory calendar for the material/plant
combination in question during the forecast run.

System Response

The system cannot carry out the forecast on a daily basis for the
materials for the plant.

How to fix this error?

Maintain the factory calendar in the master data for the plant and
maintain the factory calendar in the Customizing settings.
