What causes this issue?

The copy control data is not consistently maintained to create a
consistent settlement document. The system needs valid entries for the
posting rules to create the settlement document.

System Response

It is not possible to create a consistent settlement document based on
the copy control settings and therefore the system rejects the action.

How to fix this error?

Assign posting rules to the copy control entry for the settlement
document type &V1&. Take into account that the posting key for the
customer and supplier data must be defined in following way:
Document Posting
Posting Type: No posting
Condition Posting
Posting Type Conditions: No posting
Any other values are not supported within the contract settlement
process.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
