SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: WB - Messages for assortment list

  • Message number: 871

  • Message text: No future version exists for layout module &1

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

A version of the layout module exists with a validity date in the
    future.

    System Response

The gap between the two versions can only be removed by extending the
validity date of one of the versions. A version with a higher version
number must always have a later validity date. The system cannot create
    the version.

    How to fix this error?

Call the method using a valid version or use the validity date as the
control element for selecting the version. If you use the validity date
as the control element, the start date and the start date for the
    version you select must match.
