WAHD207
- Query for the period is different to the update period in ECC ?The SAP error message WAHD207 indicates that there is a mismatch between the query period and the update period in the ECC (Enterprise Central Component) system. This typically occurs in the context of reporting or data extraction processes, particularly when using SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or similar reporting tools that rely on data from ECC.
Cause:
- Period Mismatch: The error arises when the reporting query is set to a specific time period that does not align with the data that has been updated in the ECC system. For example, if the query is set to retrieve data for a specific month, but the data in ECC has not been updated for that month, this error will occur.
- Data Load Issues: If there are issues with the data load process from ECC to BW, it may result in the query trying to access data that is not yet available.
- Configuration Issues: Incorrect configuration settings in the BW system or the query itself can lead to this error.
Solution:
- Check Data Availability: Ensure that the data for the specified period has been updated in the ECC system. You can do this by checking the relevant tables or reports in ECC to confirm that the data exists for the period you are querying.
- Update Data: If the data is not available, you may need to run the necessary data extraction or load processes to ensure that the data is updated in ECC.
- Adjust Query Period: If the data is not available for the period you are querying, consider adjusting the query to a period for which data is available.
- Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings in both ECC and BW to ensure that they are correctly set up to handle the data extraction and reporting processes.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or support notes related to WAHD207 for any specific guidance or updates that may address this issue.
