    Cause:

This warning message appears during the release (approval) process of purchase orders (POs) in SAP when the system cannot find any purchase orders that can be released with the specified release code. The release code entered does not correspond to any purchase order currently waiting for release under that code.

    Common reasons include:

    • The release code entered is incorrect or does not exist.
    • There are no purchase orders assigned to the release code entered.
    • The user does not have authorization to release purchase orders with that release code.
    • The purchase orders are already released or blocked.
    • The release strategy is not properly configured or the release code is not assigned to any release strategy.

    Solution:

    1. Check the Release Code:

      • Verify that the release code entered is correct.
      • Confirm that the release code exists in the system (transaction ME28 or customizing path).
    2. Check Purchase Orders:

      • Ensure there are purchase orders assigned to the release code.
      • Use transaction ME28 (Release Purchase Orders) and filter by the release code to see if any POs appear.
    3. Check User Authorization:

      • Verify that the user has the necessary authorization to release POs with the given release code.
      • Check authorization objects related to release codes (e.g., M_EINK_FRG).
    4. Check Release Strategy Configuration:

      • Review the release strategy setup in customizing (SPRO ? Materials Management ? Purchasing ? Purchase Order ? Release Procedure).
      • Confirm that the release code is assigned to the release strategy and that the release strategy is active.
    5. Check PO Status:

      • Confirm that the purchase orders are in a releasable status (not already released or blocked).
    6. If necessary, reassign or create release codes:

      • If the release code is missing or incorrect, create or assign the correct release code to the release strategy.
