What causes this issue?

Not all applications (purchasing, sales etc) support all scale base
types (scale types such as value scales). The scale base type &V1& is
not permitted for this application.
Example: The scale base type L (points) is only allowed in purchasing
and is not supported in sales.

System Response

The entry is not allowed.

How to fix this error?

Correct the entry.
