Message type: E = Error
Message class: VSCE - Messages for SCE
Message number: 391
Message text: Reference characteristic &1 is not supported in any IPC scenario
You are using a reference characteristic that is not supported in any
IPC scenario.
Characteristics that are not supported do not receive any values from
the call environment and therefore have no value in the read access, so
inconsistencies may result. Write access to data from the calling
environment is fundamentally not possible (exceptions: STPO-MENGE,
SDCOM-VKOND).
If you want read access to the reference field, check whether it is
possible in your scenario to enter the corresponding SCE context (table
name, table field, value) in the IPC-calling application. For more
information, see the online documentation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
