This error indicates that the nodes (or characteristics) you are trying to group together in a variant configuration model cannot be grouped due to certain constraints or rules defined in the system.
Causes:
- Incompatible Characteristics: The characteristics you are trying to group may have incompatible values or dependencies that prevent them from being grouped together.
- Hierarchy Issues: The nodes may belong to different hierarchies or levels that do not allow for grouping.
- Configuration Settings: There may be specific settings or rules in the configuration model that restrict the grouping of certain nodes.
- Missing Dependencies: If there are dependencies defined between characteristics, and those dependencies are not satisfied, grouping may not be allowed.
Solutions:
- Check Compatibility: Review the characteristics you are trying to group and ensure they are compatible. Look for any dependencies or constraints that may be causing the issue.
- Review Hierarchies: Ensure that the nodes belong to the same hierarchy or level. If they do not, you may need to adjust the model structure.
