What causes this issue?

You have not selected the checkbox <LS>Use Change Number for Routing
</>during the creation of planning scope, and tried to load a routing
which requires an explicit change number to update the routing.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can perform any of the following:
If you expect the routing to be updated with change number, select the
<LS>Use Change Number for Routing </>checkbox during creation of the
planning scope.
If you expect the routing to be updated without change number, load a
routing which does not require an explicit change number to update the
routing.
