What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

The loaded engineering assembly in the source panel already has EBOM(s).

How to fix this error?

Select the collapsed engineering assembly and right-click to choose
<LS>Expand</>. This expands the EBOM in the source panel, without
loading it to the planned panel.
