Message text: BOM for material &1 with alternative &2 doesn't exist in the system
An existing MBOM for a material that is associated with a planning scope
alternative is not found in SAP ERP when you start a planning session.
This could have occurred due to any of the following reasons:
BOM is deleted from the database using transaction (cs02)
BOM is not valid for the engineering change number(ECN) specified in the
planning scope alternative
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If the BOM is deleted from the database, then perform the following:
In the Edit Planning Scope screen, remove the BOM from the Planned BOMs
tab page.
Choose Save and Start Planning.
If the BOM is not valid for the ECN, change the ECN to a valid date such
that the BOM is valid for it.
