What causes this issue?

Customer &V1& cannot be supplied by plant &V2& in sales area &V3&.
This error can have the following causes:
Sales area &V3& (sales organization /distribution channel /division) is
not a valid sales area.
Plant &V2& is not assigned to sales area &V3&.
No master data has been maintained for customer &V1& in sales area &V3&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Procedure for System Administrators

Check and, if necessary, correct the following Customizing data / master
data:
Make sure that the <DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOVXG>sales area</> is defined
in Customizing.
Check the <DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOVX6>assignment</> of the plant to the
sales organization and distribution channel in Customizing.
Maintain the <DS:TRAN.VD01>sales area data</> of the customer in the
customer master.
