What causes this issue?

Certain enhanced rebate features are not available in the current
release, since the software component EA-APPL has not been installed
with SAP ECC 6.0, enhancement pack 5 or higher. These features are:
- Calculation of a default value for a partial payment for payment
procedure 'C'
- Calculation of the open payment value for agreements that are already
settled
- Automatic consideration of sales volume up to the first period that
can be posted to for a partial payment

System Response

The relevant rebate records might be flagged as incorrect in the current
program and excluded from use.

How to fix this error?

Until the software component EA-APPL has the status SAP ECC 6.0,
enhancement pack 5 or higher, you should not use the enhanced rebate in
Claim & Funds Management.
