It was not possible to establish the RFC (Remote Function Call)
connection to target system, that is, to the accounting system Contract
    Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).

    System Response

o Note that functions that require an existing RFC
connection cannot be executed. These include, for example, the display
of the journal entry, or the F4 help for selection of the contract
    account.
o You cannot enter your planned business transaction
completely, but you can save it with status incomplete.
o A transfer of the SD billing document to the accounting
    system is not possible.
o In display mode, you cannot access all functions (see
    above).

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

You must complete any incompletely entered business transactions, once
the RFC connection to the accounting system is available again.
The SD billing document can be transferred, once the RFC connection to
the accounting system is available again.
Contact your system administrator to have the RFC connection
    reestablished.
