What causes this issue?

Batch &V3& of material &V1& in plant &V2& is either distributed in a
different system, or was received from another system. Distribution-
relevant fields such as production date, expiration date, and global
classification characteristics must only be changed in the batch
master.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
