What causes this issue?

Generic selection of shipping condition and transportation group is
only possible when the field to the right is also generically selected.
For example, it is not possible to select the shipping condition
generically and then specifically enter the transportation group to its
immediate right. The shipping condition can only be generic if the
transportation group to its right is also generic.
Allowed entries:
Shipping condition/Transportation group
Shipping condition/generic
generic/generic
The following entry is not allowed:
generic /Transportation group
