Message type: E = Error
Message class: V50R - Extended Collective Processing for Delivery Creation
Message number: 026
Message text: Only rule for sel. criterion "Delivery creation date" changed (long text)
Parts of this text similar to message long text V50R 027
The rule for defining the <LS>Deliv. creation date</> selection
criterium has changed from &v1& to &v2&, but the system does not
require that the selection criterium itself be redefined.
Depending how this change occurred, the system may automatically
redefine this selection criterium.
In this case, it would not be a good idea to change this selection
criterium. However, if you still want to redefine the delivery creation
date according to the new rule, you can use the <LS>Redefine</>
function, which you can call up using the button under the <LS>to</>
field for the delivery creation date in transaction VL10.
The system automatically redetermines this selection criterium in the
following situation:
You change the definition rule for the delivery creation date by
entering it directly in the header area of the selection screen.
The system does not redetermine the selection criterium in the
following situation:
You change the user role. In the new user role, you have saved a rule
that is different from the one that you entered on the selection
screen. The system assumes that you want to use the attributes in the
user role, but that you want to use selection date that you specified
manually. This guarantees that a delivery creation date that you
entered manually will not be overridden by one in a user role.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
