Message type: E = Error
Message class: V4 - Nachrichten Verkauf (Variable Meldungen und EDI-Meldungen)
Message number: 334
Message text: The planning delivery schedule in item &2 is incomplete.
In the sales scheduling agreement &V1&, you have created or changed a
planning delivery schedule in item &V2&. The delivery schedule number or
date is not filled. Both fields are required-entry fields.
If a sales scheduling agreement with the planning delivery schedule does
not have a delivery schedule number or date, the system does not allow
it to be saved.
If the system were to allow this, it could mean that a fiscal year
change is determined incorrectly, and the cumulative values are
incorrectly calculated.
Switch to the planning delivery schedule line in item &V2&. Enter the
delivery schedule number and date.
Then you can save the sales scheduling agreement.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
